Whilst the friendly bustle and buzz of abbys is open to everyone, we have a second versatile space for private events, with its own dedicated access, private rooms and bar area. It’s a unique suite of rooms with a modern feel; light, open and flooded with natural light – and as you’d expect, the distinctive abbys décor continues up there too.
Behind its own front door and private access, abbys upstairs can accommodate up to 100 for a buffet, 80 for a sit-down meal, or 65 if you’d like to add a dance floor to the mix. Upstairs for Business
A great many companies of all sizes make the economy of North East Lincolnshire what it is, and whilst we wouldn’t dare to suggest that abbys is at the heart of all that activity, it’s certainly true that a great many dynamic companies make ours their venue of choice for a host of reasons.
As many as 40 are represented at a lively networking group every Thursday morning. Between them they generated more than £1.6m of business in the region in the last year. We didn’t make that happen, but we provided the perfect surrounding for others to work together to achieve it.
We were also proud to have been part of organising and running a conference about renewables, poised to be a major part of the economy in the Humber region, with North East Lincolnshire Council Chief Executive Rob Walsh as our principal guest.
Some companies come to us for private internal meetings and conferences, others stage ticket-only events here. All love our venue, and keep coming back.
