Banish those post Christmas blues with our special Burns Night celebration on Thursday 25th January at Abbys.

Sample some of the classic Burns Night fair with a modern twist and why not pair with our specially selected drinks, designed to complement each course.

Scotch Broth with soda bread
Haggis Scotch Egg with homemade chutney
Smoked Haddock Fishcakes topped with free range poached egg
Pairing with:
Drambuie served over ice with Irn Bru OR Steel Aged Rusty Nail – Drambuie, Malt & Rye Whisky 

Haggis, Neeps & Tatties with onion gravy
Pairing with:
Bruichladdich ‘Classic Laddie’ Malt Whisky

Main Courses
Scottish Rib of Beef, sautéed mushroom, whisky & peppercorn sauce, 
Shetland Salmon Wellington, dill & lemon cream sauce,
Lentil & Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie topped with clapshot
(all served with rumbledethumps & kale)
Pairing with:
Deuchard Scottish IPA 4.4%ABV OR Caorunn Gin & Tonic

Cranachan with raspberry compote 
Chocolate Ripple Cheesecake with whisky cream
Selection of Scottish Cheeses served with oatcakes
Pairing with:
Edinburgh Vanilla & Plum Liqueur OR Laphroig 10yr Malt Whisky

Followed by Tea & Coffee served with shortbread.
